Our first Classics Club meeting (September 1) went off without a hitch, and for those who weren’t able to make it, we began discussing ideas for a Classics Club slogan; we are looking into making stickers and polo shirts for the club this semester, so stay tuned for more details! Our next meeting (September 15) will feature more deliberation regarding this issue, as well as the beginning stages of planning a club outing in the upcoming weeks (perhaps a bowling tournament??). We would like to encourage everyone with any interest whatsoever in the Classical world, language, literature, ANYTHING to meet with us out front of Morton this Thursday, September 15, at 7pm. For those who attended last week’s meeting, please note the time change; this is to accommodate those who have sport or fraternity obligations.
