{"id":1415,"date":"2014-11-10T14:52:30","date_gmt":"2014-11-10T14:52:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/biology\/?p=1415"},"modified":"2023-09-26T13:35:28","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T13:35:28","slug":"jay-brandt-15-present-cancer-research-at-state-microbiology-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/biology\/2014\/11\/10\/jay-brandt-15-present-cancer-research-at-state-microbiology-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Jay Brandt &#8217;15 Presents Cancer Research at State Microbiology Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 7, 2014 Jay Brandt &#8217;15 presented his summer research at the Virginia Branch Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology at James Madison University.\u00a0 Jay&#8217;s poster, entitled &#8220;<em>Ex vivo <\/em>Analysis of the Impact of Melanoma-altered Dendritic Cells on CD8+ T Cell Differentiation,&#8221; was based on\u00a0his work through the\u00a0H-SC Honors Council&#8217;s Summer Research Program.\u00a0\u00a0Jay worked in collaboration with Elliott Assistant Professor of Biology\u00a0Dr. Kristian M.
