{"id":1611,"date":"2015-11-10T11:26:35","date_gmt":"2015-11-10T11:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/biology\/?p=1611"},"modified":"2023-09-26T13:27:42","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T13:27:42","slug":"h-sc-seniors-present-cancer-research-at-american-society-for-microbiology-state-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/biology\/2015\/11\/10\/h-sc-seniors-present-cancer-research-at-american-society-for-microbiology-state-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"H-SC Seniors Present Cancer Research at American Society for Microbiology State Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 6, 2015, two Hampden-Sydney College senior Biology majors, Travis Goodloe and Jefferson Thompson, presented research they have been conducting on melanoma progression at the annual Virginia Branch Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology in Richmond, VA. \u00a0Working in the laboratory of Associate Professor of Biology Dr. Kristian M.
