Below are a few highlights from the collection. The Moschophoros, or &#8220;Calf-Bearer.&#8221; Dated to 570 BC, this statue and the Rampin Rider are among the earliest surviving Attic statues. Archaic Rider, 560-540 BC. Although the head is a plaster copy (the original is in the Louvre), the upper body of the rider and the head of the horse are the original marble. Lioness Devouring a Deer, possibly the pedimental sculpture of the archaic (6th century) Parthenon I (the Hekatompedon). The Peplos Kore, Archaic, 530 BC. Kore from Chios, Archaic, 510 BC. The Blond Boy, 485-480 BC. Traces of yellow paint can still be seen on his hair. The Kritian Boy, 485 BC.
