It’s quite interesting to see how all of these interact with each other and how they make me view life here in Valencia, Spain. One brand new aspect of life for myself is that of the daily commute; before arriving in Spain, I had never taken public transportation before! However, I now use the public metro as a way to arrive at the University and the public buses to return home. I also walk in order to explore new parts of the city. By using public transportation you can pinpoint different cultural aspects; it’s quite interesting to see how much people differ here in Valencia. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3280\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-300x161.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"161\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-300x161.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-1024x549.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-230x123.jpg 230w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-350x188.jpg 350w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-480x257.jpg 480w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-768x412.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712-830x445.jpg 830w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/thumbnail_IMG_2197-e1634668120712.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>There are many different clothing styles to see – especially as men’s jorts are in style here. Here in Valencia, many people use voice recordings or talk-to-text methods of communication; which is cool to me because I never really used those methods before coming here. Using these methods of communication seem to be more appreciated and easily accessible compared to others. That being said, time frames for many things are lenient once you’ve explained the situation. Spanish time – as they call it – runs anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes behind schedule. Most people are fashionably late using Spanish time.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3283\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/ea98e658-45ec-40e4-bc30-a8b6ecde3e88-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/ea98e658-45ec-40e4-bc30-a8b6ecde3e88-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/ea98e658-45ec-40e4-bc30-a8b6ecde3e88-230x307.jpg 230w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/ea98e658-45ec-40e4-bc30-a8b6ecde3e88-350x467.jpg 350w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/ea98e658-45ec-40e4-bc30-a8b6ecde3e88-480x640.jpg 480w, https:\/\/blogs.hsc.edu\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/ea98e658-45ec-40e4-bc30-a8b6ecde3e88.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/> Overall, my time abroad has been spectacular and has been filled with all new experiences that I would’ve never imagined before traveling to Valencia, Spain!
