The Hampden-Sydney Student Senate is the Legislative Branch of the student government as defined by the Key. In this role, it acts on behalf of the student body by passing legislation to effect positive change across the campus.
The Senate is tasked with:
- reviewing, amending, and passing the budget for non-greek clubs and organizations
- working to strengthen the student-faculty-administration relationship.
- granting or revoking club charters as necessary.
