We hope you enjoy this showcase of the wide variety of undergraduate research in the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics performed at Hampden-Sydney College.  Hampden-Sydney prides itself on providing tremendous opportunities for our students to train for careers as future scientists and future leaders, and it is thus the goal of this Journal to provide a student-edited venue for the public presentation of student research performed at the College.  This Journal will showcase a wide range of scientific activities at the College ranging from Honors theses to research assignments from science classes.
